Let us consider the state of Man: Fallen.
As Animals, we lived healthily and happily. As Men, we live under the weight of work and despair. The Agricultural Revolution has always been a service to crops at the expense of man — think of it from an evolutionary perspective: the grains best suited to attract humans to their cultivation experience a population increase, while we, tribes of monkeys, suffer from backs tired from hard work or from the diseases of a sedentary lifestyle. But we had no choice: the number of sick and unhappy village men will always outweigh the physical — if not mental — fitness of hunter-gatherers. The idea of agriculture surpasses our animal biology.
Let’s take a step back:
First there was physics… then organized autocatalytic systems developed delayed reproduction and genetic inheritance—the birth of life. An era of biology, governed by the iron law of Natural Selection: an environment of limited resources combined with exponential population growth (Competition) and modified offspring (Evolution). Until the process was interrupted by the accidental invention of Consciousness…
The loss of our innocence meant an unforeseen and uncontrollable force: (Human) history, a supra-genetic system… Cultural memetics supplants physical inheritance, but still follows the rules of natural selection: a virtual, deeply accelerated evolution… From quartz blades to silicon wafers in the blink of an eye (biological)…
It was from this scenario that Capitalism emerged… not as an ideology or political orientation, but as a potent virus… the infectious concept of teleological production: exploitation of resources justified by exploitation of resources. Its accidental development was as unexpected and uncontrollable by human forces as self-awareness was for Evolution… or Life for the coldness of Physics…
Although humanity was its midwife, just as agriculture was for us, its life force is guaranteed by natural laws beyond our control… Capitalism may sometimes coincide with our will, but it will never bow to it. Once given life, it cannot be directed or stopped—only slowed down… or accelerated.
So where will it take us? The oracle draws a definitive line toward the creation of Artificial Intelligence, which means the end (for us) by almost all optimistic analyses… The truth is that as we discard our biology, Capitalism discards us.

I feel cold. The days are dragging again, and the people in my life appear and disappear like ghosts in a mist. I know that one day an angel will appear like a vision from heaven and clear everything away. Maybe today will be that day.
