Four Scales of Evaluation and Reward

Hypothesis: Mammals have wired into their feelings and behavior four fundamental systems of evaluation—social and inner guidance structures—that guide them, fairly well, toward prosperity and mating benefit (and thus toward nature’s real goal of genetic benefit).

Its least optimal state is: Low Status.

2 ~ The Internal Evaluation System of Biostatus

This system allocates:

  1. Encouragement
  2. Discouragement

Its main function is Prosperity.

Its main events and transactions include:

  1. Ups from the world (money, kisses…)
  2. Downs from the world (failure, boredom, discouragement)
  3. Horrible Realizations

  1. Self-respect
  2. Rush
  3. Collapse

Its most optimal state is: Exhilaration (confidence, coordination).
Its least optimal state is: Depression.

4 ~ The Internal Evaluation System of Biosexual Status

This system allocates:

  1. Sexual Encouragement
  2. Sexual Discouragement
